Quantum Many-body Physics Of Ultracold Molecules In Optical Lattices: Models And Simulation Methods

This thesis investigates ultracold molecules as a useful resource for novel quantum many-body physics, particularly through the use of their wealthy inside construction and powerful, long-range dipole-dipole interactions. In addition, numerical strategies in response to matrix product states are analyzed intimately, and normal algorithms for investigating the static and dynamic houses of necessarily arbitrary one-dimensional quantum many-body techniques are put forth. Finally, this thesis covers open-source implementations of matrix product state algorithms, in addition to tutorial subject material designed to assist in using figuring out such strategies.
