Killing Reagan: The Violent Assault That Changed a Presidency by Bill O’Reilly, Martin Dugard
Requirements: .MP3 reader, 252 MB
Overview: From the best-selling team of Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard comes Killing Reagan, an epic account of the career of President Ronald Reagan that tells the vivid story of his rise to power – and the forces of evil that conspired to bring him down.
Just two months into his presidency, Ronald Reagan lay near death after a gunman’s bullet came within inches of his heart. His recovery was nothing short of remarkable – or so it seemed. But Reagan was grievously injured, forcing him to encounter a challenge that few men ever face. Could he silently overcome his traumatic experience while at the same time carrying out the duties of the most powerful man in the world?
Told in the same riveting fashion as Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus, and Killing Patton, Killing Reagan reaches back to the golden days of Hollywood where Reagan found both fame and heartbreak, up through the years in the California governor’s mansion, and finally to the White House where he presided over boom years and the fall of the iron curtain. But it was John Hinckley Jr.’s attack on him that precipitated President Reagan’s most heroic actions. In Killing Reagan, O’Reilly and Dugard take readers behind the scenes, creating an unforgettable portrait of a great man operating in violent times.

The Killing of William Browder by Alex Krainer

The Killing of William Browder: Deconstructing Bill Browder’s Dangerous Deception by Alex Krainer
Requirements: .PDF reader, 2.18 MB
Overview: In 2015, former hedge fund manager Bill Browder published “Red Notice” – purportedly a true story about his experience in Russia between 1996 and 2005. Upon closer scrutiny however, his story doesn’t add up and demonstrably fails to stand up in a court of law. Nonetheless, on the dubious strength of that story, Browder has been able to lobby the U.S. Congress to pass the Magnitsky Act in 2012 which needlessly damaged the relations between the U.S. and Russia. Mark Twain warned us long ago about the “loud little handful,” shouting for war. Bill Browder has been one of the loudest and most effective among that loud little handful clamoring for a new Cold War with Russia. Where he failed in courts of law, his relentless campaign of demonization of Russia and Vladimir Putin succeeded in the court of public opinion in the West. As humanity finds itself on the precipice of yet another great war, we need bridges of mutual understanding and constructive engagement, not demonization. This book’s modest hope is to contribute to the construction of those bridges for I believe that the people of the United States and Russia, to whom this book is dedicated, hold the keys to the future of humanity.
