Design and Implementation of Compiler
About the Book: This well-organized text provides the design techniques of complier in a simple and straightforward manner. It describes the complete development of various phases of complier with their imitation of C language in order to have an understanding of their application. Primarily designed as a text for undergraduate students of Computer Science and Information Technology and postgraduate students of MCA. Key Features: Chapter1 covers all formal languages with their properties.More illustration on parsing to offer enhanced perspective of parser and also more examples in each segment to improve students skill to grasp the content discussed.Code optimization refers various special techniques in much detail. One complier project is also included to provide a most excellent simulation of compiler. Some more instances in C to provide superior simulation of relevant section. About the Author: Dr. Ravendra Singh received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Lucknow University, Lucknow (UP). He is Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, MJP Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly (UP) and has worked in Research & Development wing in the industry for five and half years before moving to MJPRU in 1997. His curent research interests include computer networks, network protocol, QoS Routing and Data mining techniques. Er. Vivek Sharma is presently Project Manager in HCL Technologies, Noida (UP) with 9 years of IT industry experience. He has 6 years experiences in developing software in Real time/Embedded system RTOS (Vxworks, Solaris RT, Siemens propriety RTOS); also an exellent command over SharePoint Portal Server 2003, assembly language, LaturBach,PlaNet, WLCP, JSP, ASP, and SPS2003. He is Coordinator of CMM and CMMI activities and one of his projects got an R&D award from Ministry of Information Technology, India in 2001. He is gold medalist in B. Tech. in the Computer Science & Information Technology from MJPRU, Bareilly and obtained his MBA in Operational Research. Er. Manish Varshney is with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMSCET), Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It addresses a full spectrum of compiler design. The emphasis is on solving the problems universally encountered in designing a compiler regardless of the source language or target machine. The book examines alternative approaches to meeting specific design requirements of compiler. The concepts of designing and step-by-step practical implementation of compiler in ~C~ language are the main focus.
