If the problem does not occur, there is some program that was booting with Windows, and causing the problem. To determine which one, do repetitive clean boots, adding a new check with each one. When the problem returns, the last check-box you clicked is the app thats doing it. Start with the antivirus. Cracked games have code the AV softwarez see as "malicious". I certainly hope so! Don't have "Run" on your XP Start menu? no problem, on the keyboard, press the "Windows" key + "R" key together amazing, you do have "Run"! Also, you can add it to your "Start" menu: 1) Right-click the Task Bar and choose "Properties" 2) Click the "Start Menu" tab 3) Check the "Start Menu" radial button (if it' isn't already) 4) Click "Customize" 5) Click the "Advanced" tab 6) In the "Start Manu Items" window, scroll 3/4 of the way down, Check "Run command" 7) Click "OK", "Apply", "OK" The run command will now appear on your Start Menu
good luck
