I've decided to compile all the programming notes my teacher has given me over the last year or so in an attempt to help some people that want to program and don't have a clue where to start. They helped me at least and gave me a firm grounding to start from. Each section simply has a bit of info and then some exercises. The exercises are the key here as they get you to apply what you've learnt to make sense of it - that's the way I learnt best - but I guess everyone's different. They're mostly language in-specific but are biased in some places towards vb6. Before you start make sure to pick a language to start in (I recommend desktop based for a total beginner) and get a compiler set up that you can easily write/execute/modify the code in. Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome.
