WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A WII SERIAL THAT STARTS WITH LU64 OR LU65 THEN DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE! INSTEAD GO
Code:
http://gamingexposed.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=65&func=fileinfo&id=49
AND DOWNLOAD THIS LU64 FIX AND READ THE READ ME FILE INCLUDED IN THE DOWNLOAD FOR INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS.

DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE RISK THEN DO SOME RESEARCH AND GET INFORMED!

IF YOUR WII IS 4.0 OR BELOW AND ALREADY SOFTMODED (with cIOS36_rev8 or higher and homebrew channel) ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS UPDATE TO 4.1 USING THE NINTENDO SERVERS (how you normally would update). THEN INSTALL THE IOS60PATCHED.WAD. IF YOU WANT THE TRUCHA BUG FIXED THEN RUN IOS DOWNGRADER UNDER THE EXTRA STEPS SECTION!

IF YOU DON'T HAVE WIFI THEN FOLLOW THE OFFLINE DOWNGRADE/UPGRADE GUIDE
Code:
www.gbatemp.net/lofiversion/index.php/t144835-0.html
IF YOU HAVE A NON-SOFTMODDED WII NO MATTER WHAT FIRMWARE THEN FOLLOW THE GUIDE BELOW.

THINGS YOU NEED:

WII SYSTEM: with 4.1 firmware (If your firmware is 4.0 or below then update to 4.1 firmware).

SD CARD: up to 32GB (formated FAT32). Make sure it is an empty formated SD Card. Back up any important files from the SD card before formating it.

WIFI: (If you do not have WiFi then use the link I provided above).

DISCONNECT: any Game Cube controller, Game Cube Memory Card and USB Device from Wii.

SOFTMOD PACK: Download it
Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/?owyatll0yoy
and extract it to the ROOT of the SD card.
MIRROR LINK:
Code:
www.sendspace.com/file/9z0bvr
BANNERBOMB: Download aad1f_v108.zip from
Code:
http://bannerbomb.qoid.us/
and extract it to the ROOT of the SD Card (If this version does not work try using another version).

HACKMII INSTALLER: Download the hackmii_installer_beta2 from
Code:
http://bootmii.org/
download and extract it to your PC. Rename the installer.elf file to boot.elf and drag it to the ROOT of the SD card.

This section will install Homebrew Channel 1.0.3 to your Wii System.

DO NOT HAVE THE SD CARD INSERTED INTO THE WII SYSTEM AT THIS TIME!

Go to WII SETTINGS>DATA MANAGEMENT>CHANNELS>SD CARD TAB

You will get a message saying "Nothing is inserted in the SD Card slot".

At this time insert the SD card into the Wii System.

You will get a message saying "Load Boot dol/elf?" Select YES.

This will start the Hackmii installer.

Press 1 to continue at the warning screen.

Select Continue again at the page that shows what can and can not be installed.

At the main menu go up to Install Homebrew Channel.

Select YES, Continue when it ask to install the Homebrew Channel.

After it says success select continue again.

Now go down to exit (The Wii should reboot with HBC installed).
IF YOU HAVE HOMEBREW CHANNEL INSTALLED ALLREADY UPDATE YOUR WII TO 4.1 AND SKIP TO HERE
I have read that Bootmii can interfere with installing a cIOS so at this time we will not install Bootmii. After the guide is done you can then install Bootmii.

UPDATE: Some have claimed that they installed Bootmii before performing this guide and everything worked. So there are conflicting results on whether Bootmii interferes with the cIOS install or not. So it is your choice when you want to install Bootmii. But keep in mind you might have issues installing a cIOS if Bootmii is installed.

This section will downgrade and patch IOS35 so we can install a cIOS.

Start the Homebrew Channel and run DowngradeIOS35 from the Homebrew channel menu.

Go up and select "Downgrade IOS35" (skip patchmii and dvdx).

After it downgrades IOS35 go down to "EXIT" and it should exit to the Homebrew Channel.

Run WAD Manager.

Select A to agree to the disclaimer.

Select IOS version to use: <IOS35> Press A.
Select source device: <Wii SD Slot> Press A.
Go to IOS35.WAD in the list and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.

After the WAD file is installed press HOME to return to the Wii System menu.

Start the Homebrew Channel and run "cIOS38_rev14 Installer".

Select IOS35 for the IOS to use for Instillation.

You have 2 options on how to install the cIOS (you do not need to do both options!)...

a) WAD Installation: You will need to Google IOS38-64-v3610.wad and download it. Then place it in the root of the SD Card. Then chose WAD Installation option.

or

b) Network Installation: At the instillation option screen press RIGHT 1 time on the D-pad of the Wiimote. This will download the files via WiFi.

After you have selected the option you want and installed the cIOS your Wii should reboot to the Wii Channel menu.

IOS Downgrader will downgrade IOS's and patch them to fix the Trucha Signed exploit. This will allow Trucha Signed applications and disc run on the Wii System (This is not mandatory to do but if you want the trucha exploit fixed then run it).

Run Homebrew Channel and choose IOS Downgrader in the Homebrew Channel list. Follow the On-screen instructions (if some things fail, simply run the program again until all of them succeed).

IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R6:

Run WAD Manager.

Select A to agree to the disclaimer.

Select IOS version to use: <IOS249> Press A.
Select source device: <Wii SD Slot> Press A.
Go to IOS60patched.wad and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.

After it installs IOS60patched go to NeoGammaR6-NGBL.wad and press A.
Select action: <install wad> press A.

After the WAD files are installed press HOME to return to the Wii System menu.

EXTRA STEPS: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS BUT I HAVE ADDED THEM INCASE YOU WANT TO.

Game Cube Support:

1) Launch the Homebrew Channel via the Wii channel menu. Select the cMIOS_rev3 in the Homebrew Channel list. This will start the installer. You need to press A to accept that you have read the disclaimer.

You have 2 options on how to install the cMIOS files (you do not need to do both options!)...

WAD Installation: Google RVL-mios-v8.wad and download it. Then place it in the root of the SD Card. Then chose WAD Instillation option.

Network Installation: At the instillation option screen press right 1 time on the D-pad of the Wiimote. This will download the files via WiFi.

After you have selected the option you want and installed the cMIOS your Wii should reboot to the Wii Channel menu.

Now you can launch the backup Game Cube games from the NeoGamma R6 backup launcher channel in the Wii channel menu.

CLEAN UP:

You can delete everything off the SD Card once you are finished.

I would recommend keeping Wad Manager and the wad folder (everything in the wad folder can be deleted.

USB loader

Download the USBLoaderGX file
Code:
www.mediafire.com/?4dtwkggmcyd
and extract it to your SD Card (Choose YES when it ask to overwrite).

Start the Homebrew Channel and run Wad Manager 1.4. Choose IOS249 and select SD Card for device to mount. Now choose USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder.wad in the list to install.

This will install a forwarder to your Wii menu which will allow you to launch the USB Loader from the Wii menu (this is only a forwarder it will still need the SD card in the Wii to run the Loader).

The USB Loader GX is password protected. The default password is ab121b. After you unlock the loader you can change the password to whatever you want or leave it blank to not set a password.

You can update USB Loader GX by going to settings and selecting the icon that looks like a Wii with an arrow pointing down on it (next to the STAR icon).

To add a game you will need to click on the + icon an the bottom left of the menu (the loader needs to be unlocked for this icon to appear).

To auto-download game covers and disc covers click on the boxart icon to the left of the menu (the loader needs to be unlocked to download covers).

If you want to manually add a cover then the cover size should be a factor of 4 (I have 160x244 for cover and 160x160 for disc) and placed in the below directory ...

Cover: SD:/images folder.
Disc Cover: SD:/images/disc folder.

I have included the folder directories already in the above download.

If the Loader can not find the USB device then plug the USB Device in the other USB Slot on the Wii.

For more information on USB Loader GX go

Code:
http://wbfsmanager.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=26808]WBFS Manager 3.0.1
This is a PC GUI application that transfers Wii backup games from PC to USB Device. An alternative way to transfer games to the WBFS formated USB Device rather then using the Wii DVD Drive.

Code:
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/USB_Devices_Compatibility_List
this is a USB Hard Drive compatibility list.

i tried this part and it did not work for me

If you have a NTSC-U (USA) or PAL system and would like to boot the games from the normal Disc Channel then take a look at this guide
Code:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/777675
hope this helps you it really helped me
